Instructions for authors


The manuscripts for possible publication in NSJOM should be submitted through the online submission system Journal Open System (JOS). If you are not a user of JOS please register by following this link. Please be sure that you are registered as an author (check appropriate button at the last question). If you are already a user sign in by following this link.

The uploading is easy, just follow the instructions on this link.

You will be asked to provide:

  • the title of the manuscript,
  • the name(s) and e-mail address(es) of author(s) and also the corresponding author (principal contact for editorial correspondence),

  • authors should be ordered alphabetically,

  • abstract,

  • AMS Mathematics Subject Classification (2010),

  • key words and phrases,

  • PDF file of your paper.

  • any of their unpublished papers to which crucial reference is made in the manuscript, as a supplementary file

During submission you have to agree with the Authors' statements .

About style:
Contributed papers should be written in English. The title of the paper and the name(s) of the author(s) (in alphabetical order) should be followed by a short abstract, keywords, and the AMS Subject Classification of the paper. 

Drawings should be prepared as postscript gray-scale files.

References For evaluation process, references can be prepared in any valid format containing necessary bibliographical data. All references in the bibliography should be cited in the text. If paper is accepted, BiB file of references is required.

When your manuscript is accepted:

The corresponding author will receive the decision and will be asked to prepare LaTex and bib file according to NSJOM template. The bib file should contain metadata only of references cited in the paper. Beside common fileds, like AUTHOR, TITLE, etc., please add, if exist, fields MRNUMBER and DOI. Formatted bibTeX data, which includes MRNUMBER and DOI fileds, can be found at mathscinet.ams.org/mref. More examples can be found in details of each published or accepted paper in NSJOM since 2018. Publishing policy

Submitted papers are subject to a quick overview before entering into a more detailed peer review process. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to reject any manuscript that does not conform to the journal's scope. Submissions are strictly refereed and only papers of high quality are accepted for publication. By submitting a manuscript the authors agree to abide by the NSJOM’s Editorial Policies.
